There is an International Secretariat which is based in France. It exists to ensure that all communication channels are clear between all offices, and that all of Médecins du Monde’s principles are adhered to.
Médecins du Monde's international network encompasses: 10 delegations; 6 representative bureaux; 7,000 members; 5,500 volunteers in our offices; 1,200 volunteers in the field and 366 paid staff. In 25 years of existence, Médecins du Monde has organised 297 projects in 88 countries, with a budget of 64 million Euros.
