After the success of its first sponsored Bike Ride in 2006, our team of 44 cyclists from the UK and France set off for a three-day challenge covering almost 300 kms of hilly - but stunningly colourful - terrain.

With a tandem in their midst, they arrived triumphant at the Arc de Truimphe on Saturday 14 July in time for the amazing Bastille Day celebrations.

The unique aspect to this event is the link between the work of MdM's offices in London and our Paris HQ, who sent along a welcome party to the finish line.

Aswell as sending medical volunteers to provide care to vulnerable peoplein developing countries, both offices run healthcare projects formarginalised people who cannot access mainstream healthcare services inthe UK and France. Overall, MdM operates in nine European countries in this way.

In 2008 our team is set to be even bigger. To register for our third London to Paris Bike Ride 2008 (12-15 July) participants pay a non-refundable £99 Registration Fee, then pledge to raise £1,000 in sponsorship funds.
