Project: London works in the premises of partner organisations which provide complementary services for groups of vulnerable people who need help to access health care.
The Project: London team for each session consists of medical staff and at least two support workers. All volunteers have undergone training by Doctors of the World UK.
The London-based organisations and their client groups are:
- Praxis: working with displaced people and new residents, Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday and two Saturdays a month.
- Clash: Central London Action for Street Health, a clinic for the sex workers. Every Friday fortnightly.
- Notre Dame Refugee Centre, a day centre for the French speeking African community. Every Thursday fortnightly.
- Tamil Community Centre, a Community Centre for the Tamil Community in London. Every Wednesday
