Migrant Rights and Access to Healthcare

Location: Tijuana and Mexicali

Activities:

MdM aims to improve access to healthcare and respecting the right to health of migrants in Tijuana and Mexicali.The programme’s objectives are:
• To facilitate the provision of healthcare for migrant populations;
• To prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections;
• To promote and encourage the respect of the right to health for the migrant populations on the northern border.

Outlook:

The project will continue along the same lines in 2007.
