Corporate Fundraising Assistant Internship
 
The role involves:
•    Research and first contact with companies.
•    Assisting with the organization of events and written appeals.
•    Assisting with the organization of the Luis Valtuena Humanitarian Photography exhibition 2008: identifying exhibition venues in the UK.
•    Maintaining the Communication and Events Department contacts database
•    Assisting with general administration.

You may be the right person for this role if:
•    You are from a communications/events/sales background and are looking to transfer to the charity sector or having recently graduated (or about to graduate) with a communications or events background, you are interested in acquiring and insight into communications and events within and international development organisation.
•    You are autonomous and willing to work as part of a team.
•    You are tenacious and dynamic.
•    You are also confident on the phone and have a good telephone manner.
•    You have a ‘can-do’ flexible attitude towards work.
•    You are organised, able to meet strict deadlines and have a keen eye for detail
•    You have fluent spoken and written English language skills, a working knowledge of French and Spanish is an advantage.
•    You have excellent IT skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

We will reimburse your receipted daily expenses travel and lunch expenses up to £10 as long as these expenses are incurred.
